Installing a T56 into an ‘86 Mustang

Although the T56 is bigger than the TR-3550, it will fit into the tunnel of a ‘86 Mustang.   You will have to shorten your driveshaft.  You will be able to use your same clutch, bellhousing, slip yoke, and speedometer cable.

The crossmember will bolt into the stock location, but you will have to modify it.
