Many of the older cars did not have a tunnel/floor pan designed for today’s larger modern overdrive transmissions.  But that doesn’t mean you can’t get it installed!   Check out some of the solutions we’ve seen to change the transmission tunnel to allow it to accomodate.

While there are only a couple of cars shown thus far, the principle of the project will be the same regardless of what car you have.  Check out the individual pages on this web site for swap details on your specific application.
