TKO Speedometer adapter clearance:

The new TKO-500 & TKO-600s have a slightly different trans mount boss, and it sometimes interferes with the installation of the various speedometer adapters that are available.  The pictures below show what you will need to do in order to install your adapter should you find that there’s not enough room.

If you’re using a GM trans mount, it will utilize the 2 inside bolt holes.  In this case, you could just cut of the outer edge of the trans mount boss enough to allow the adapter to fit.

When using a Ford trans mount, you’ll want to be more stingy with the grinding wheel, as shown in the pics below.
