What is a TREMEC?
The 5 speed TREMEC transmissions are high performance, high quality manual overdrive transmissions manufactured by Transmission Technologies Corporation (TTC). TREMEC transmissions are installed as original equipment in virtually all new RWD sports cars built in North America, such as the Corvette, Viper, Camaro,  Mustang, Cobra, Cadillac, and SSR.

Also available for most GM applications, small block Mopar, and early Ford installations.  These are true overdrive transmissions, offering final gear ratios of .82, .68, .64, .62 and .50!.  And they are excellant high quality transmissions that are also STRONG, with torque ratings from 400 - 600 ft lbs!
